Heatshield's Radiant Heat Mat protects paint from blistering on body panels such as the hood of the car. This multi-purpose product can also be used to shield that radiant heat from floor boards and firewalls. This heat shield barrier is designed to be used underneath the vehicle which will stop heat before it enters the vehicle interior. By simply placing the aluminized side of the heat mat towards the source of radiant heat, it will shield excessive heat and melt away excessive degrees from the engine. The Radiant Heat Mat withstands 100?F of radiant heat and up to 450?F of direct heat. To apply the non-adhesive product, use a high temperature glue and silicone or it can be fastened down with screws or rivets.
